Medical Records Technician
Mon-Fri Day Shift, Position will coordinate maintenance of medical record files, coordinate processing of discharged and active charts, maintain accurate computerized databases, and other duties to assist in the efficient functioning of the Health Information Services Department. Director of Pharmacy
Bachelors of Science Pharmacy degree from accredited College of Pharmacy; residence program desirable. Provides Hospital/multiple facilities is preferred. Previous participation in a pharmacy and therapeutics committee is preferred. Must be Alaska State Board of Pharmacy licensed or eligible to sit board. Membership and active in the state and national society of hospital pharmacy is encouraged. Able to supervise pharmacy technicians.

Position directs the daily operations and provides direct pharmaceutical care functions of North Star Behavioral Health Systems. This includes the interpretation evaluation and dispensing of medication orders, ordering and receiving of medications and supplies and all other functions necessary to serve the hospital and RTC facilities. The pharmacist supervises the pharmacy technicians and works with Pharmacy for supplies.

Clinical Therapist
North Star Hospital is looking for a FT Clinical Therapist. Mon-Fri Day Shift. Experience with children and adolescents preferred but not required. Position provides direct and indirect client care, and provides psychotherapeutic services to clients and families. Clinical Therapist will serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team supporting the facility's treatment program and philosophy; serves as a primary liaison between the facility and outside agencies for discharge planning, abuse reporting and continuum of care functions. Masters Degree is required.

Controller

North Star Business Office is seeking a FT Controller to identify, record, and summarize financial data relevant to business transactions, events and decisions; to report and interpret data necessary for sound judgments and decisions by managers. CPA/Masters Degree in Accounting is preferred with experience in senior level accounting. Job duties will include all Controller duties and also will include some senior level accounting duties such as account reconciliation, account analysis, journals. Must have ability to work independently with little supervision. Mon-Fri Day shift. Fax resume to 264-3564.

Pool Mental Health Specialist II

BA or BS from an accredited college in psychology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, including experience in a comparable healthcare or child/adolescent education setting. Direct care position working with the patients, assisting in day to day activities and leading groups etc... Pool positions are on call. You have the flexibility to create your own schedule of availability and may apply internally for FT and PT positions.
